The Jane Austen Collaborative was created to bring together readers and scholars from all over the world to share knowledge about Jane Austen, her novels, and the world she inhabited. Whether you choose our virtual, recorded, or in-person programming, we invite you to join our network. Come share your love of reading and history with us.
OUR PROJECTS
The Jane Austen Collaborative is a leader in public humanities and digital humanities programming, as well as a hub for scholars and teachers of literature and history.

“I’d like to express how wonderful it is to see how the JASP and your other programs have grown, evolved and touched so many around the world in only 12 years ... I’m so proud and in awe of the work done to bring not only the writings of JA to the public’s attention, but also exposing material culture, the arts, medicine, history, etc of the era to so many. I, personally, feel the experience has been very profound, and thank you for developing this wonderfully enlightening program.

“My idea of good company...is the company of clever, well-informed people, who have a great deal of conversation; that is what I call good company.”
“You are mistaken,” said he gently, “that is not good company, that is the best.”
